First Eucharist Registration –
Registration is now open for all current second grade students who would like to be prepared to receive the sacrament of the Eucharist. Students in third and fourth grade who still need to prepare for their first Eucharist are welcome to register as well.

Eucharist
In the celebration of the Eucharist, our family is called together each week to grow in the understanding of God’s Word and to share the gift of Christ Himself in Holy Communion.
Baptism
The sacrament of Baptism joyfully celebrates the entrance of new members into our Catholic Christian Community. The celebration of infant Baptism is usually scheduled during our weekend liturgies. In preparation for this event, parents and Godparents must attend a Baptismal preparation class. Please call the Parish Office at 410-488-0400 or 410-426-0360.
First Reconciliation and First Communion
Each year the parish community invites children in the second grade (and older children who have not yet celebrated these sacraments) and their families to the celebration of these two sacraments. As with Confirmation, archdiocesan regulations require one year of religious education or Catholic schooling prior to preparation for the sacrament. The preparation and celebration of these sacraments, as with all sacraments, is the faith expression of a parish community. The Sacramental Preparation Program is separate from any school or religious education program. Parents are required to attend a series of preparation meetings that are offered throughout the year. Confirmation
This Sacrament of the Spirit to assist in growth to personal Christian maturity is offered annually to 9th grade students. Students who request this sacrament are prepared through a special program. As per archdiocesan regulations, one year of religious education is required prior to entering the immediate preparation for the sacrament. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Adults who are not baptized or baptized in another Tradition and are seeking a fuller relationship with God through the Catholic Church are invited to participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The celebration of the entrance of adults into our Catholic Christian Community occurs at the Easter Vigil. After a year-long process of prayer, study and spiritual formation has prepared them for this celebration. Any adult who is interested in learning about our Catholic faith is invited to call Dorris van Gaal at the NECC Faith Formation Center 410-254-1687.
Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation restores spiritual health, peace and unity among God’s people. The opportunity for confession and Reconciliation is available Saturdays from 3:45 – 4:15 p.m. at St. Dominic (Penance Chapel), 3:30 - 3:45 p.m. at St. Anthony’s and on Sundays from 9:30 – 9:45 a.m. at Most Precious Blood. We recommend that penitents arrive at the beginning of the time period allotted for confessions to ensure adequate opportunity for the celebration of that sacrament. Parish celebrations of Reconciliation are announces during Advent and Lent. Parishioners may call the Parish Office at 410-488-0400 to arrange times for a personal appointment with a priest.

Marriage
In the Sacrament of Marriage, a man and a woman pledge their love and commitment to one another in the presence of God and the Church. Couples should contact one of the priests or deacons at least six months prior to the proposed wedding date and before any other arrangements or plans are finalized.
Anointing of the Sick
The Sacrament of the Sick is intended for those who are ill or infirm. Parishioners planning to enter the hospital for elective surgery should consider making arrangements to receive this sacrament prior to admission.

Parish staff members visit hospitalized or homebound parishioners when notified of their illness. (Please be aware that the hospital will not inform us.) You may call the Parish Office at 410-488-0400 to arrange for Communion visits or to receive other sacraments.
A SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING HOSPITAL STAYS
Please be aware that as of April 14, 2003, rules from the Department of Health and Human Services regarding privacy require hospitals to ask permission to include patients’ names and room numbers in the hospital directory when admitted. If you choose to not be included in the directory, the hospital will not be able to even acknowledge that you are a patient. This means no phone calls, no flowers, no visitors at all – not even clergy. If you wish clergy or Eucharistic Ministers to visit while you are in the hospital, you must agree to be included in the directory and it would be wise to call the Parish Office as well (410-488-0400).
